An Italian woman pitted olives, stuffed them with meat and cheese, and rolled them in bread crumbs all while surgeons removed her tumor.
Okay so this wasn’t the first time that surgeon Roberto Trignani has had one of his patients awake and performing some sort of activity during surgery. In fact over the last five years he has had over 50 operations where patients have been awake and doing an activity while undergoing brain surgery.
