So tomorrow is Leap Day, a day that comes once every four years. But why?
According to Twitter:
February 29 comes once every four years for a good reason: Without it, December would eventually drift into summer.

That didn’t seem like a good enough explanation, so I started looking into it a little. Holy Wha! Math! Science! Nonsense! You can find it all when you start looking on the internet. Honestly, it was a little overwhelming.
But then I came across this, and it explained the math and science in a historical context:
