  • CBS claims several Erie, Pennsylvania McDonald's employees are being hailed as heroes for recognizing Facebook Live killer Steve Stephens. Henry Sayers says Steve ordered a 20-piece Chicken McNugget meal and fries at his drive-thru window. Sayers and his fellow employees recognized Steve before calling 911. The workers delayed Steve by telling him he would have to wait for his fries. As soon as Steve left McDonald's, cops immediately closed in on him.

  • TMZ claims Richard Simmons has been hospitalized for severe indigestion.

  • The Consumerist claims Apple is planning to redesign the iPhone for its 10th anniversary. The new stainless steel model will have a curved glass screen and a home button that is incorporated into the screen as opposed to below.

  • The Wrap claims Adidas has apologized for sending an email to customers that read: “Congrats, you survived the Boston Marathon!”

Adidas posted the following statement: “We are incredibly sorry, Clearly, there was no thought given to the insensitive email subject line we sent Tuesday. “The Boston Marathon is one of the most inspirational sporting events in the world. Every year we’re reminded of the hope and resiliency of the running community at this event.”

Whoever wrote the statement was not thinking about the Boston Marathon bombing

  • USA Today claims Starbucks is introducing a new drink today called The Unicorn Frappuccino. It is pink and blue and features pink powder, mango syrup and sour blue drizzle.

Starbucks says: "Like its mythical namesake, the Unicorn Frappuccino blended crème comes with a bit of magic, starting as a purple beverage with swirls of blue and a first taste that is sweet and fruity. But give it a stir and its color changes to pink, and the flavor evolves to tangy and tart. The more swirl, the more the beverage’s color a`nd flavors transform."

  • Foodbev.com claims Ben & Jerry's is now selling ice cream tacos that feature waffle taco shells filled with two scoops of Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream. Fudge, caramel and cookie crumbs adorn the new offering. Ben & Jerry's is calling their new creation the Chill-aco.

  • Disney may open a Star Wars resort at Disney World. Business Insider says the resort would be built after Star Wars Land opens at Disney in 2019. The resort's lobby, guest rooms and other areas would resemble some of the sets from the Star Wars movies. Two-night guest stays could cost as much as $1,000 per guest.

  • US Weekly claims IKEA may open stand-alone restaurants in order to sell their Swedish meatballs. A company representative tells Fast Company; "We've always called the meatballs 'the best sofa-seller'. Because it's hard to do business with hungry customers. When you feed them, they stay longer, they can talk about their [potential] purchases and they make a decision without leaving the store. That was the thinking right at the beginning."

  • ESPN claims the Cubs asked non-players to sign a document saying the team can buy their World Series ring back for $1. The Cubs gave out 1,098 World Series rings to players and personnel. Players will have to pay taxes on their rings based on their fair market value The team plans to pay the taxes for all other employees.
